Stone chip protection coating – helps prevent corrosion.

SUVO Stone Chip Protection is an alkyd-based stone chip protection coating designed for use on vehicle body panels, wheel arches, front and rear valances, and similar areas. It can also be used as a sound-deadening coating in areas such as the luggage compartment.

The product is resistant to petrol and common solvents and can be overcoated with most automotive paint systems available on the market.

Application instructions

Shake thoroughly before use. Ensure all surfaces are clean and free from dirt, oil, rust and other contaminants before application. Use in a well-ventilated area.

Apply using an underbody spray gun, a brush, or a Schutz gun fitted with a 3 mm nozzle. Clean all equipment with thinner or white spirit after use.

The recommended dry film thickness is 500–1000 μm, corresponding to approximately 0.5–1.0 L/m².

The coating can be overpainted wet-on-wet after 15–20 minutes. Drying time is approximately 2 hours.

Shelf life: 2 years.
